Photographer, producer, director, wannabe surfer, working in Europe and the USA. Lisa began working as a commercial, fashion & portrait photographer in London in 1994 & started shooting stills on movie sets in 1996.
She has worked with & assisted many photographers, ranging from Brian Hamill and Neil Leifer to Mary Ellen Mark. The time spent with Mary Ellen was a pivotal point in Lisa's career as her style moved even more towards a documentarian direction. She combined that with an unintrusive yet more up close and personal approach in all areas of her work, whether it's movie stills, portraits or travel work.
Always extremely considerate of the people she is photographing, there is a level of trust that is very apparent in her work.
Lisa has exhibited in the Marion Spore Gallery, Brooklyn and at the Illuminated Metropolis Gallery in Manhattan and will exhibit at Illuminated Metropolis Gallery again in June 2012. She is planning another two NY exhibitions before the end of 2012. Images from her commercial, travel and movie stills will be on display. Also, currently in planning stage there is a 'People, Places & Travel' exhibition to be shown in Montana, New Mexico and North Carolina, as well as New York City in 2012/13. Recently returned from working in Europe, Lisa is in discussions about a book on NYC, Athens & Ireland.
On the producing side, Lisa started as a television researcher intern in 1996 and worked as a movie set AD in Ireland in 1997. She went on to co-run her own production company in Belfast for 2 years, from 1998 - 2000. The company produced music videos, short films and worked in development with documentary feature ideas for the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK.
Since starting to associate produce in 2002, Lisa has worked as a producer and field director on Peabody Award winning and Emmy & Oscar nominated shows for HBO, Showtime, ESPN, Bravo, Lifetime and Skydance Productions.
