Lisa is a director / producer and photographer working in the USA and Europe. She began photographing professionally as a commercial, fashion and portrait photographer in London in 1994 and started shooting stills on movie sets in 1996 and has worked on over 30 narrative films since then.

She has also worked with and assisted many photographers such as  Brian Hamill, Neil Leifer and Mary Ellen Mark. The time spent with Mary Ellen especially was a pivotal point in Lisa’s career. Her style moved even more towards a documentarian direction. She combined that with an unintrusive yet more up close and personal approach in all areas of her work, whether it’s movie stills, portraits or her travel work.

Always extremely considerate of the people she is photographing, there is a level of trust that is very apparent in her work.

Lisa has exhibited in the Marion Spore Gallery, Brooklyn and at the Illuminated Metropolis Gallery in Manhattan.

On the producing and directing side, Lisa co-ran her own production company in Belfast for 2 years.  The company produced music videos, short films and worked in development with documentary feature ideas for the BBC and Channel 4 in the UK.

Lisa has also worked as a field director and producer on Peabody Award winning and Emmy & Oscar nominated shows for HBO, Showtime and ESPN. She has worked for Bravo, Lifetime, FYI, Investigation Discovery, Food Network, the Cooking Channel, HGTV and Great American Country.

Earlier this year, Lisa was producer on the award winning, narrative feature film, The Karma Club, a Karma Productions film and a first time collaboration between Lisa and Kevin Porter Young.

Lisa lives in New York City.
